Meditation

Meditation is a useful and beneficial tool to raising your vibration and spiritual growth. It is a time for quiet connection with both yourself and your guides. However, meditation comes in many forms of which you need to find the right one for you. There is traditional lotus position stance, You can lay down, sit in a chair, you can meditate with both eyes open, and closed. Some people find they meditate whilst out in nature having a walk where you clear your head, tune in and focus on things within your mind. A meditation can either be used to focus on an issue you wish to work through, or seek answers. Or it can be completely clearing your mind of everything and relaxing. I would encourage daily meditation if possible and if you have little time the even 10 minutes a day would be beneficial. Try if you can to keep to the same sort of time and location. Make others aware this is your quiet time, and you are not to be disturbed except in an emergency. Make sure the room is warm, you are comfortable, light a candle and if you want either relaxing music or a guided meditation cd. You will find your mind wanders (known as monkey mind) just acknowledge any thoughts that pop in and then move them aside to deal with later.
